Rating: B/Spicy
If it don’t Hurt it Ain’t Love is a story about three woman; Kat, Tamia and Vatyra who have been friends since high. this story will hold your attention from the first sentence to the end of the book.
Kat is engaged to Dante who like to have her cake and ice cream too. Dante sees their union as a match love made in heaven but Kat on the other hand sees it as a business merger. Tamia is a single working mother who lost her first love on the day that she gave birth to their son Semaj. Being near death has Tamia stuck between staying in heaven with her first love James who is the father of her fourteen year son or returning to earth to help her son.
Then we have Vatyra who was in a serious relationship with Kevin that was about to lead to marriage until he got cold feet and ran where he met a woman that would do anything to make him hers.
This story is had me so hooked from the first line, it took me 4-5 hours to read. Junnita Jackson blends and weaves a facinating tales of drama, sex and deception. The characters was well written with enough infromation about them where you actually know them. I can’t wait to read what happens next to Kat and Semaj. Overall, If it Don’t Hurt it Ain’t Love is a page turner that kept this reviewer on the edge of her seat wanting to know what was going to happen next.
